Irish finally wake up to CBD

 

They say that Ireland is the land of saints and scholars. If that is true, then the Irish Church of Cannabis (ICOC) is holding up that stereotype. We have previously covered the European Church of Cannabis and their fun fight to spread their ancient religion. In Ireland, the church has a dedicated community of cannabis people. Due to the strict legal environment, the Irish Church has been blocked from using their healing cannabis plant but they have been busy with the next best thing.

Cannabidiol or CBD is one of the main chemical components of both the legal hemp plant, and the absurdly illegal cannabis plant. CBD is an amazing health partner for our bodies. It doesn’t have a psychoactive effect like cannabis’ other major compound tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD has incredible anti psychotic effects. It brings down inflammation, fights pain (especially period pain for women) and for all the students out there, it heightens brain function with none of the memory loss associated with THC. It gives strong neuroprotection and is frequently used to stop the most severe forms of epilepsy while also boosting their immune system. In short, CBD is medical cannabis without the high.

Our saintly scholars in the Irish church know all this and have been bringing CBD to the people. They have created their own CBD vaporizer oil.
